San Jose Sharks + SAP Center App Reviews

The new update took the app from being all about the Sharks to now just looking like the generic NHL app. It still works, but the update was totally unneeded, and the navigation is actually more difficult.

The new design is terrible. This went from a must have app to complete garbage. The articles are now almost none existent, most stuff just takes you to Instagram. If I have Instagram, why do I need this?

Most text is so small that everything needs to be enlarged. How about a map of SAP Center showing all of the food/beverage locations?

Got so bad, that Ill be deleting it from my phone :/

They took the best sports app with the best content and easiest navigation then gave it to their design team to screw it up. It is now an Insta Twitter feed with no context and horrible navigation controls. The worst.

The new version of the app now asks for your location every time you open it. Badgering people to give up their location data is reprehensible. Also requiring location sharing to be able to get notifications is also horrid.

Have to watch a 30 second advertisement for every single clip, even if the clip is barely 30 seconds. Relax on the advertisements.

Liked old version better. I usually dont upgrade to new versions, unless the old one is broken, or the new one has some great new feature. The old version Listen Live feature stopped working for some reason. Got new version and fixed it so I can listen to the games. New version rearranged everything and the white background is way too bright (no more teal background). Found the live show but now has strange home and away buttons, and only one has game. Have to figure out where they put everything. Might like it more as I find stuff, figure things out and turn my brightness way down. Its great but the links dont work

The new app actually works fairly well. In progress game updates are quick, listen live feature is very cool, fairly easy to navigate as well. The big problem is that the news feature, articles about the team, are no longer present. To view any news or photos, you have to be a Twitter user. Too bad.
